Patrick J. Donnelly, Director of Investigations
Mr. Donnelly is a 23-year veteran of the FBI. He retired in 2005 as the Coordinating Supervisor of the International Terrorism Branch of the New York Office Counterterrorism Division, as well as the Joint Terrorism Task Force Coordinator. Prior to that assignment, he served on the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force, combating violent drug gangs as both an investigator and supervisor. Mr. Donnelly was a member of the New York SWAT Team awarded the FBI Medal for Bravery for its actions in securing the terrorist bomb factory in Brooklyn during the TERRSTOP investigation of 1993. Prior to joining the FBI, he served in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Captain. Mr. Donnelly graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement and Corrections, and holds a Master of Science degree in Administration of Justice from American University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Mount Saint Mary’s College. He holds a top secret security clearance.
